  • X-Cope India-18 is the fourth edition of a series of bilateral joint exercises organized between Indian Air Force and USAF, which will be held in India. This is the first time that this exercise is being organized in the two Air Force bases- Kalkunda and Panagarh from 03 to 14 December 2018.
  • In Wrestling, Vineesh Fogat won the national title of 57kg in the Tata Motors Senior National Championship in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. Sakshi Malik won 62 kg

  • Atllawme Debbe of Ethiopia won the full marathon with 2 hours 17 minutes and 17 seconds time. Teshome Getacu claimed the second and the Békéle Esefa at third place.
  • The full marathon of women from Kenya stood for 2 hours 50 minutes and 27 seconds for the first time in Pascalia Chepococcus. Ethiopian Bellev meconon and Fakede Tillhun won the second and third positions.
  • India and Belgium draw 2-2 in men's hockey World Cup in their second group match in Bhubaneswar.
